With Memorial Day signaling the unofficial start of summer, we want to wish you all a great season filled with endless sunshine and happy guests/members.

Thank you all for entrusting Pabian Law with your H-2B seasonal visa petitions.  We know that you cannot operate without staff, and we are humbled and honored to play a part in your operations.

A few reminders now that your seasons are underway:

  • We will be starting work on summer 2026 petitions in mid-September.  We will be in touch in the weeks ahead to schedule planning calls and ask you to complete a quick questionnaire surrounding your initial plans for next season.  If you would like to speak sooner, just let me know and we can get something scheduled.  Planning calls are going to be more important than ever this year due to the Trump Administration and their immigration initiatives.
  • Make sure to register for the Pabian Law-Seasonal Connect 2025 Staffing Summit.  You can register online at www.eventleaf.com/e/2025StaffingSummit and view the event brochure online at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vCSIzdow_9REMGlPFFpfStaelXmYViSw/view. I know the event is during your busy time of year, but there will be dozens of winter-season properties attending.  This is your chance to meet great recruiting partners while engaging in amazing education (and earning educational credits).  Spots are filling fast, so make sure to sign up as soon as you can.
  • Speaking of opposite-season recruiting partners, now is the time to be creating and solidifying these relationships to allow you to staff even easier next year.  We saw that the vast majority of clients that successfully recruited in-country workers for the summer season were ones that took the time to build and nurture in-country recruiting relationships.  For just $89 per month, you can have a great resource to make and further these relationships with Seasonal Connect.  I strongly encourage you to consider signing up if you are not a member.  It will pay huge dividends in future seasons and ultimately save you time with recruiting in the future.  You can sign-up at www.seasonalconnect.com.  Use the discount code PABIANLAW10 for the special Pabian Law client discount.
  • Don’t forget about the new Pabian Law news page on our website (www.pabianlaw.com/news).  I recommend taking a look at this every week or so to ensure you are caught up on relevant news in the world of immigration.  The client password to access the locked materials is PabLawMarch25!
  • Last, and certainly not least, please keep your focus on compliance during the season.  Train your managers, supervisors, and H-2B visa staff on what the workers are allowed and not allowed to do.  Remind workers that they are not allowed to work second jobs.  Let us know when workers leave early (even if they just depart early by a day).  Do not make changes to job duties, compensation, bonuses, etc. without checking with us first.  We are always here to answer your questions.

Thank you all once again.  We are always here for any questions that arise during the season.  Have a great season, friends!

Warmly,

Keith and your friends at Pabian Law
